When it comes to sharing your most personal issues with someone, Lori understands you need to feel safe. Lori is herself a member of the LGBTQ+ community and is an affirming therapist. Whether you or someone you love is struggling with identity issues, gender dysphoria, relationship issues, bullying/harassment, spiritual issues, or trauma, Lori provides a safe, welcoming environment to explore these issues.
If you are a family member of someone who has recently come out or identified themselves as part of the community, the best first step is to listen with love. The journey to self acceptance can be arduous and Lori would be honored to accompany you or your loved one along that journey. Family members may need a safe space to explore their own feelings and/or learn how to be an ally. Individual therapy, family therapy, and/or support groups may be helpful.
